Training
The club trains in a 25m indoor pool and occupies up to 4 lanes at Wanneroo Aquamotion pool. Diving training takes place in the outdoor pool during the summer months. We also utilise other 50m pools, such as Craigie Leisure Centre and HBF Stadium for dive training. We will train (in part) at HBF Arena when this pool facility is open, but this is presently closed for maintenance.
All training sessions are carried out by qualified coaches. Aqua Attack provides a trial period to find out which squad is most suited to the swimmer and for the swimmer to decide if they enjoy the activity, before formally joining the club. All swimmers must then be registered with Swimming WA and become financial members of the club.
There is an entry fee to the venue and swimmers can either pay per entry or obtain bulk entry cards. At Wanneroo Aquamotion, swimmers aged 10-15 years can obtain a pool membership from the City of Wanneroo / Aquamotion. Swimmers aged 13 years and over can also obtain a teen gym membership, however parent or guardian supervision is required for teens under 16 years of age.
Our club offers a variety of training squads for all levels of swimmers: Novice/Junior - Intermediate - Senior.
Intermediate and Senior swimmers conduct land-fitness stretches and exercises (land-training) before swimming each night.
In order for your children to receive quality training, our club policy requires parents to drop and leave swimmers at the venue. For new swimmers, children that are unsure / uncertain, or for children that have special requirements, this policy may be relaxed. Please discuss this requirement with our coaches or via our contact page.
